Intro to cotton part 1 smooshed.wmv
A very quick look at spinning cotton from prepared sliver. I am not an expert, and only time I do the short back or forward draft is for a demo for a video like this or to show someone, so I am not good at them, but I do demonstrate them. My forte is the long draw, which I do demonstrate and go into some detail about. Part 2 will deal with dyed sliver, which tends to clump and draft with some difficulty as well as brief information on plying.
